EDN Online Pitching Sessions 2016: Women in Opposition
International Media Support takes part in an upcoming EDN Online Pitching Session – an online video conference, where a selected number of documentary projects are pitched and matched with decision makers fitting the specific profile of the projects. This pitching session is focusing on documentaries about women in opposition.
What do we mean with ‘women in opposition’?
With women in opposition, we mean documentary projects done by or portraying women, groups of women or female movements forming a social or political opposition. This can for instance be:
– Political oppositions fighting for democratic rights
– Groups or individuals battling suppressing political leaderships
– Social movements trying to change current dominant structures.
