Panel discussion and exhibition: How media narratives on Gaza influence policy, perception and lives

This panel discussion will explore how Gaza is covered by mainstream media, how Palestinian voices are represented and how editorial priorities influence prevailing narratives.

Two years into the genocide in Gaza, journalism and digital media platforms continue to play a crucial role in shaping public opinion, political debate and collective action. The panel discussion Framing Gaza: How media narratives influence policy, perception and lives will bring together Palestinian journalists, media researchers and representatives of Danish media outlets to explore how Gaza is covered, how Palestinian voices are represented and how editorial principles and priorities influence the narratives that are presented.

In addition to the panel discussion there will be a photo exhibition dedicated to Palestinian journalists, courtesy of IMS’ Palestinian partner organisation Filastiniyat.
