Keep Radio Ergo alive – save lives in Somalia
Every week, 70% of Somalis rely on radio for vital information. For millions, Radio Ergo is their lifeline – delivering warnings about natural disasters, health advice, and trustworthy updates that can mean the difference between life and death.
But now, Radio Ergo is at risk of shutting down. If it closes, millions will lose access to life-saving knowledge.
We need your help today.
Our goal is to raise 100,000 DKK to keep Radio Ergo broadcasting critical humanitarian information across Somalia, Kenya and Ethiopia.
Your support will ensure people have access to:
- Early warnings about floods, droughts, and other disasters.
- Health and survival tips for families in crisis.
- Reliable news that supports communities to adapt and thrive.
Without Radio Ergo, vulnerable communities will face climate shocks and food insecurity alone. UNICEF estimates that drought and hunger killed 71,000 Somalis between 2022 and 2024, mostly children under five. We cannot let this continue.
🧡 Every contribution counts. Please donate today and help us keep Radio Ergo on air.
About Radio Ergo
Run by IMS, Radio Ergo broadcasts humanitarian and climate information to Somali-speaking communities in some of the hardest-hit regions. In remote areas, Radio Ergo is the only source of information. It helps families prepare for extreme weather, adapt to changing conditions and build resilience.
