• Designed and supported implementation and data analysis for a comprehensive evaluation of the impact on MDGs of a radio project in the Southern Madagascar. Projet Radio is managed by the Andrew Lees Trust, andfunding for evaluation activities was provided by the Department for International Development (DFID) UK
  
  
• External communications specialist on a DFID team which conducted an output to purpose review (OPR) of the BBC’s Voices radio project in Nigeria (for DFID)
  
  
• Facilitated a stakeholders’ and scriptwriters’ workshop at the start of a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) led communications initiative in Botswana. MARCH (Modeling and Reinforcement to Combat HIV/AIDS) addresses HIV/AIDS-related behaviour change through radio serial drama and community interpersonal activities
  
  
• Researched and wrote a Good Practice Guide on Communications for DFID staff
  
  
• Part of a multi-disciplinary team that carried out an evaluation of the Fit-SEMA radio project in Uganda – an initiative to involve local commercial radio in supporting small business enterprise with targeted programming, run by the International Labour Organisation, funded by SIDA (Sweden)
  
  
• Conducting a media assessment in Guyana for the US CDC to guide implementation and airing of the radio serial drama component of the MARCH project
